Rosalba, the smell of powder Without art nor part lately.
I bought last month a volume of the series "Masters of Color" dedicated to Rosalba at a dusty market stall near the station, two euro, not bad, the pages are large and are therefore suitable for my thin micro-cosmos- room.
Rosalba, was a highly esteemed painter in Venice in 1700. Well! A rare example of a woman artist who has had good luck and success in life, Rosalba has been a respected portraitist
and honored by the European courts. Just talk about it in the history of feminism
, perhaps because of his alleged aristocracy.
In his paintings the pastel technique is cleverly reinterpreted lightly stroke, with harmony of colors and with precision. The complexion of his characters is palpable, it seems to smell the
powder and talcum powder on her ladies covered by veils and drapes. You learn a lot by carefully observing his crayons!
I played his "Madonna", although the colors are different. The eye that looks up the request and gives a sense of vagueness, and that's what struck me. Of course the result I was not satisfied but it's part of my history and that's okay. Hello everyone!
